Yes. If you charge with japan charger than the output of the plug will be different. Use the amercan you have. Cuz everybody’s walls are pluged in the walls.
have you checked out the chargher from japan? ask your uncle if it says 110-220 caus if it does then you can use that chrger in us
lots of people buy imported psp in japan. yes, japan have different outlet but the psp battery are the same (depending what psp model you have). if your uncle is buying imported psp from japan, you need to buy america psp charger (maybe from Best Buy or other place cost somewhere $30-40).

Step 0: Free Download this DVD to PSP Converter software, and install it on your pc .
Step1: Add DVD Disc
Click Add DVD Folder button, select a DVD in the dialog box that opens, and load it. The Loaded DVD information, such as chapter and title etc. will be showed in the file list. Or, Click Add IFO Files button, select an IFO file in the file dialog box that opens, and load it.
Step2: Select output format
Select one or more files in the list, click Profile drop-down button, select an output format for selected files in the drop down list that opens.
To adjust output settings, you can set the detailed parameters of output format in the profile panel of left window.
Step3: Set output folder
Click Browse button in setting panel, select a destination folder in the dialog box that opens, and click OK.
Step4: Extract file
After finished the settings above, check the needed file to extract in the file list, click Start Ripping button on the main interface, to start extracting the file. You can view the progress of the extracting process from the progress bar at the bottom of the window.
You can click Pause Ripping button to pause the extracting process and Stop Ripping button to cancel the process as required.

Sure you can. But since they have a weird outlet you need to get an adapter. They sell them at Radioshack and stuff but make sure you get the right one.
