We are framing in some rooms in an unfinished basement. My husband has done this professionally and wants to find a compressor and nailer to make the work faster, but he has only used professional ones at the work site. We need to know what size and power we would need for one/possibly two nailers to run simultaneously on a diy project. Also, what are some good brands? Thanks!
What are some good DIY projects (i.e. easy gadget hacks, homemade gadgets from easy to get parts, et cetera) for a thirtten year old who has just about all day every day to sit and do nothing? Anything a novice can do without too many parts, like soldering guns and th like. Thanks!
Bought a trailor to fix up for profit and having trouble finding information on how to install a bath tub. I am pretty handy with tools and other diy projects. I am just looking for somewhere on the internet that can show me how.
Hi. The water dispenser in my KitchenAid Superba refrigerator is not working. It was slowing down for a long time…you’d have to hold the glass there for several seconds before the water would come out. The time got longer and longer until water just stopped coming out altogether. I changed the in-line filter a few weeks ago, and that worked to fix it for about 3 days. Then it started taking longer again, and now it doesn’t work anymore again. The ice maker still seems to work, although I don’t use too much ice, so I’m not positive about this. I have a feeling that there are mineral deposits in the line somewhere, but I don’t know how to get it out. I’d love some suggestions, other than to call a repairman. I will if it comes to that, but I already know that a repairman could fix it. I wouldn’t have asked if I thought that was the only answer. Thanks!
I am living in Chicago area and I had some DIY maintenance work done myself for my car. I got some waste fluids that I do not know where to dispose. They are the bake fluid and the power steering fluid. But I do not know where to send it to since I am not supposed to dump in the drain or pour them in to a garbage can or just dump it outside house.
Hi so I’m on my student council and were planning a semi based on like red carpet and were low on funds so i need some good diy decorating ideas for a centerpiece that are cheap but don’t look cheap.

Could anyone tell me what is an ideal model of car (’90-’96)for the diy mechanic.I run cars that are at the end of their lives which usually gives me a couple of years cheap motoring, but I am finding it increasingly difficult to work on “modern ” cars without specialist tools.
