I am in the market for a new car and am picking between the Jetta TDI (diesel that will be released later this year) and a normal gasoline-using Jetta. I understand the differences in power and torque between gas and diesel engines. However, I am unsure about the amount of maintenance that goes into owning a diesel. Can someone who has owned both a gasser and a diesel for long periods of time help me out?

I have been wanting a mini cooper (convertible) for awhile, but it may still be awhile before I actually get one. I’m not as much interested in the stat difference between the two, but moreso the required maintenance. I’ve heard that supercharged cars require more maintenance or cost more for maintenance or something. Is this true? I’m not trying to decide which one to get, I’m just trying to decide if I should care, really. I’m planning to buy used.

Okay, do high maintenance women look different from other women? How can you tell?

I just bought a new car in October and received a notice that my first scheduled maintenance is due. Are all these “scheduled maintenance” things really necessary for a new car, or is it just a way for the dealership to get more of my money?

I have to do a budget analysis for my math class and it is asking me how much would maintenance be for a year on your transportation. I am planning on buying a used 2003 mitsubishi lancer oz rally in the future so on average, how much would maintenance cost?

I am about to buy a toyota cressida and this guys says that the drive line is bad and needs to be fixed. He wants like 300 for the car and another 300 to fix it. I’m know alittle thing about fixing cars but can I fix it myself? Or can I take it somewhere else?

I have a top floor condo that has sloped floors. Is there a way to fix this issue? The floors are all Hardwood. What I want to know is if I were to buy new hardwood and some how build shims under it, could this fix my problem. Otherwise any other suggestions? Also, I don’t know if I can get to the Joists due to the fact that I would be bothering my neighbor below.
