Making clocks is so much fun and easier than you might think. I have made 5 or 6 clocks and always enjoy seeing them throughout my house.
You can make the project as simple or difficult as you want. I get my part and plans from steebar.com. This is a family owned company that has a great selection and stands by the quality of their products.
Go to any craft shop, Wal-mart, Lowes, Home depot. Any of these sell clock kits of various styles including the motor, battery box, hand and numbers. You can get a great selection to mix or match and use almost anything you want for the face. Alot of motors and mounts come with a hanger built into them for easy hanging from a nail or picture hanger. If using wood just router or chisel out a hole in the back big enough for the motor, drill a hole for the stem, mount motor and then add hands, numbers or whatever to the face and voila’ your in business. LOL Bill
