Go to any craft shop, Wal-mart, Lowes, Home depot. Any of these sell clock kits of various styles including the motor, battery box, hand and numbers. You can get a great selection to mix or match and use almost anything you want for the face. Alot of motors and mounts come with a hanger built into them for easy hanging from a nail or picture hanger. If using wood just router or chisel out a hole in the back big enough for the motor, drill a hole for the stem, mount motor and then add hands, numbers or whatever to the face and voila' your in business. LOL Bill

Making clocks is so much fun and easier than you might think. I have made 5 or 6 clocks and always enjoy seeing them throughout my house.

You can make the project as simple or difficult as you want. I get my part and plans from steebar.com. This is a family owned company that has a great selection and stands by the quality of their products.

Good luck with your project!
