What sort of box can you put your xbox in for repair? a guy came to collect my xbox today but i didn’t have a plaine brown box. could i put it in my laptop box?
all they give you is the labels i still got my xbox 360 box but the agent in the call centre said do not put it in a box with a microsoft logo on it.

    arent you supposed to get a box from the repair center with your shipping label and everything……i would deffinatly make sure of that before you send it in

    If it’s an original xbox, I’d look around town for a trade a game or something for repairs rather than wait a few weeks. If it’s a 360, usually regular repair centers cant help you out too much. You call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and follow the commands, talk to the person, and they’ll collect information and send you a white box with return shipping tags. You’re xbox will be back in a few weeks. Will cost you anywhere from 50-175 bucks depending on whats messed up or if you have a warranty maybe even nothing. If no warranty and their charging you because you got the three red lights then you can be firm and they will usually lower prices.
